Breeze

My first time seeing these massive leaves from giant bird of paradise plants was quite a moment. I felt like I was on the set of some Prehistoric film, and there was no way these plants were actually real. It must have been humerus or even a bit embarrassing for those around me. As this full grown adult was so fascinated by the size and shape of these powerful leaves. I was obsessed. How the wind would push and pull these giants and they would split in perfect straight lines down to the spine. How the light would come through them as they towered over you producing the most vibrant green. I still find myself so drawn to them in a mesmerizing gaze every time I walk by them.
